Hyderabad-based agri-tech start-up, OneBasket, which is addressing the supply-demand gap in the non-perishables segment is creating Win-Win situation for Farmers and Consumers alike.

Mr Madhusudan Reddy Salla- Founder of OneBasket said “Today 95% of the farm produce available in the market are cultivated with commercial seeds that are mostly genetically modified for better resistance to pests and higher yield.Most of the organic labelled products available also use genetically modified seeds. Since “Organic” has become very popular.”
According to market research, the company's Agri produce made from desi seeds is most popular in the southern part of India. Desi seeds are also known as hybrid seeds because they are not genetically modified and are thought to be superior to organic seeds

In a short span of one and half year, Onebasket has become a bridge between farmers and consumers, where the farmers that are on the platform are directly receiving orders from the consumers. The full-stack agritech startup ensures the traceability and standardisation of agri products. It was started by serial entrepreneurs, Madhusudan Reddy and Narsi Reddy Posham in 2019. Since then it has surpassed $1 million in revenue.
